I would love to have this book! Our pets have proved to be Xmas tree destroyers, so we just stopped trying to assemble one inside. Instead we light up the tree outisde which we can enjoy from the living and dining room windows.

As much as I'd like a real tree, we have a pretty real-looking artificial tree which will be going up this week.
I've been eyeing this book for a while now. Thanks for offering it up as a giveaway!

We don't have a Christmas tree lol or rather we don't put one up since the dog would probably run it down anyway, but we do have an artifical one stashed away. But I am actually a real Christmas grouch anyway ;)

We have an artificial tree. I love the smell of a real one, but it's so hard to find a slim cut REAL tree. Thanks!

We usually buy a real tree. In fact we used to order it by mail - it was shipped from New Hampshire all the way to us in California. However, once our kids got old enough, they wanted to participate in the purchase/selection so now we buy from a lot that gives 100% of the proceeds to charity. Perfect!

I LOVE making bags so this would be a fantastic Christmas gift for me. I don't know yet what kind of tree we'll have: my in-laws may have an artificial tree in their attic that is retro-cool. If not, we'll probably get a living tree that we'll keep in the planter for a few years and then plant in the back yard. Thank you for the giveaway.

we don't have room for a christmas tree, so we just have a mini tree that is artificial. i think i want to have the girls help me find and decorate a pretty tree branch, and maybe we will make a big paper tree for the wall!

Gasp, I would love this book! We cut a real tree. The national (I think) forest nearby gives out passes for a certain number of trees to be cut in a part of the forest that needs thinning. It's great and they smell so good!

Im very sad.

Jodi said...

Artificial... we had real ones for a few years when I was little but they really don't do well in the Australian summer heat and you end up with more pine needles on the floor than on the tree.

We have a huge artificial tree that is probably way too big for our small living room, but we like it and we always pack it full with ornaments. I sometimes miss the smell of a real tree, but the artificial one is easier to deal with in the city.
The book looks very interesting, thanks for the chance!

Calikisses said...

This book would be fantastic to have! We have a very REAL Christmas tree. We go to the forest and chop it down ourselves, hiking through the snow and hoping the dogs don't pee on the one we choose, haha! We have yet to get one this year though since it's still early :)

Funny you should ask!!! There is a battle being waged in this house this year over this very subject. My husband is on the artificial side and my daughter is on the real side and I feel like I am on the front line!! Wish me luck!

We have an artificial tree. I always had one growing up, and when I looked at the investment (lights, stand, etc.) anf hassle of a real tree, I decided to go ahead and buy a pre-lit one. We'll enjoy looking at the living trees, decorated, in our neighhbour's yards.

We always have a real tree. We buy it from our boy scout at the scout tree lot near our house. Our goal is to put it up by my younger son's birthday (12/13). Right now it's 60 degrees in Wisconsin (!) so I'm not too motivated to get it up yet, but that deadline is looming! Thanks for offering this giveaway - I have checked out this book from the library a number of times and would love to have it in my collection.
