MD Anderson Quilt Auction!

Above are some of the gorgeous quilts that have been coming in for this years MD Anderson Quilts Auction scheduled for Oct. 23-Nov.6 2013. The online auction raises research dollars for ovarian cancer research. This years goal was to receive a quilt from every US state. So far we have received quilts from 16 states and counting. The quilts are coming in as the deadline approaches. If you have a quilt to donate please do so, you can make one or send one that you no longer have interest in. Someone else can wrap themselves in it and love it as much as you once did while contributing to ovarian cancer research. You can click here to find out how to get your quilts to MD Anderson Quilt Auction. We are so excited about the quilts this year, they are beautifully made with lots of love and creativity.   Be sure to LIKE the Quilt Project Facebook page  to keep up to date on all the quilts coming in. Thanks to all who have contributed and helped in any way to make this such a success! What a great opportunity to try and eliminate ovarian cancer using the universal language of quilts.

Until the next post Happy Quilting!

Hi Jill,

Joe Ann McClure and I along with our Tuesday night quilt group made a quilt specifically for the MDA auction. We hand delivered it to Pam on May 24, 2013. We had so much fun working on the quilt and we hope it raises a lot of money for MDA. The quilt is called “Festive Flurries” designed by Jocelyn Ueng of It's Sew Emma. Thanks to you, we have continued to support the online auction as well as many other quilters too.

Love the blog, take care.

Hi Rhonda-
Thank you so much for your group and especially Joe Ann's help. The auction would not be successful if it weren't for the wonderful, caring quilters who have given so much for this great cause. I bet Pam cried when she received the quilt. A big THANK YOU to all of you!
