We are so excited for week one of the Sewing Accessories... Blog Hop! During the next 5 weeks we will be talking about all 10 projects from our new book "Sewing Accessories at Home and on the Go" published by Annie's. Along the way there are 4 great bloggers that are making some of the projects from the book and sharing their tips about the projects as well as chances to win copies of the book. Plus you will have so much fun reading their blogs!

For this 1st week I will be sharing the "Log Cabin Pincushion Caddy" and then you can hop over to Jamie's blog and check out the "Sew on the Go Tote Bag".I used Aneela Hoey's "Sew Stitchy" layer cake from Moda Fabrics and Peltex 71F single-sided fusible ultrafrim stabilizer by Pellon and polyester stuffing. From 1 layer cake pack you can make several caddies and they make great gifts for your sewing friends too! Its great to have your pins, scissors, rotary cutter and favorite notions all together in one place, that way you don't have to keep searching for them when you need them! The caddy is pretty easy to make. The log cabin blocks are paper pieced with the full size template included in the book. Take your time constructing the caddy and follow the simple steps and you will have yours done in no time! Now head on over to Jamie's blog to check out another project from the book.
You can purchase a copy of the book at these great retailers today! Sunflower Quilts, Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Annie's Publishing.
Until the next post Happy Quilting!
